The End of the Line (le bout de la ligne de pêche) est un film documentaire qui n’est sorti qu’aux USA et en Grande-Bretagne concernant la surexploitation des océans, notamment en ce qui concerne la pêche. Il a été réalisé en 2008 selon le livre éponyme de Charles Clover. On y parle donc de plusieurs sujets : le moratoire sur la pêche à la morue au large de Terre-Neuve, la surpêche du thon rouge et l’augmentation de la demande pour les sushis, les conséquences de la disparition du poisson pour l’alimentation des êtres humains, etc…

Connaissez-vous le "documentaire participatif" ? The age of stupid, un docu-drame-fiction sur le changement climatique est un documentaire d'un nouveau genre... Il ne se fait que grâce à l'aide des internautes. Vous êtes partant ? Pour aider à financer ce documentaire ? Plutôt que de faire appel au porte monnaie des télés, l'équipe de The age of stupid a tenté un pari fou : lever des fonds en ligne. Et ça marche : plus de 330 £ on déjà été récoltés grâce à des "gars ordinaires". Cela s'appelle un "crowdfundeddocumentary" Sur le site, on suit au jour le jour ce projet fou... en attendant de le voir sur les écrans. Ingénieux !

he Tribe weaves together archival footage, graphics, animation, Barbie dioramas, and slam poetry to take audiences on an electric ride through the complex history of both the Barbie doll and the Jewish people- from Biblical times to present day. By tracing Barbie's history, the film sheds light on the questions: What does it mean to be an American Jew today? What does it mean to be a member of any tribe in the 21st Century?
