Aparținînd comunei Sântimbru-Ciuc, Băile Pucioasa, stațiune balneologică și climaterică locală, se găsește în raza comunei Sâncrăieni, pe coama munților Harghitei.
Izvorul Mureşului

Izvorul Mureşului este o localitate montană la poalele Hăşmaşului Mare (1793 m), pe versantul sudic al Muntelui Negru (1538 m) staţiune recreativă ce şi-a primit numele de la izvoarele râului Mureş, aflate pe teritoriul localităţii. Staţia de cale ferată reprezintă punctul cel mai înalt (850 m) a căii ferate circulare ce străbate Secuimea. Pe DN 12 se află la 45 km de Miercurea-Ciuc şi 23 km de Gheorgheni, la cumpăna apelor dintre bazinul hidrografic al Mureşului şi Oltului.
