突如其來的汶川震災發生後，舉國上下愛心如潮。各地人民和單位力所能及地紛紛向災區捐款捐物甚至捐血，然而令人意想不到是連乞討的老人也加入到捐贈的隊伍中來了。《現代快報》5月16日消息：愛心捐贈仍在繼續，昨天，最讓人感動的捐贈者應該是這位乞討老人，他在捐了5元後，又找遍身上的零錢，特地到銀行兌換了一張百元現鈔，放進了募捐箱。
