Mills & Boon have launched a new site based on a fictional hotel called The Chatsfield. It’s aim is to link readers to different M&B titles using a light fictionalised world. There’s lots of sub sites set up around the web for some of the characters in the hotel - it all feels a bit like an Alternate Reality Game from about 10 years ago.

Pour Christine Lapostolle, je suis un lecteur qui sort de l’opacité; un lecteur qui agit et qui déplace la forme conventionnelle des relations écrivain/lecteur. Le dialogue prend la forme d’un diptyque vidéo dont la trame est constituée de 13 mots. Nous partageons 13 mots et chaque mot ouvre un espace spécifique que nous avons investi avec nos propres référents. Dans la vidéo de droite, Christine parle autour des mots que je lui ai proposés, dans la vidéo de gauche, je réponds à ses propos produisant par ricochet mon point de vue singulier. Ce dialogue est nourri de réflexions autour des possibilités d’action et de résistance qu’offrent l’écriture et la littérature.
