akrylonumerik est une performance multimédia « live » où la matière rencontre le numérique. Le principe est simple, et fait intervenir trois groupes d’artistes autour d’une surface blanche face à des ordinateurs équipés de vidéo projecteurs : Des plasticiens (graffeurs, peintres, affichistes…) agissent directement sur le support pendant que les artistes infographistes y projettent leurs propres créations. Parallèlement, des musiciens composent un univers sonore, en temps réel. Les trois médias (matière, numérique et son) sont improvisés, à partir d’une trame concertée (story board) et de matières produites en atelier. L’Akrylonumérik est donc la rencontre inédite de trois médiums habituellement séparés, et qui prend tout son relief en public. Les intervenants se répondent, s’écoutent, se regardent, interagissent, improvisent, chacun d’eux, guidés par le synopsis. Les tableaux mouvants se succèdent, souvent figuratifs, parfois abstraits, mais n’excluent jamais le sens, le discours, l’humour. Au-delà du côté spectaculaire et captivant du dispositif, la part d'improvisation qu'il offre fait de chaque performance une oeuvre unique et éphémère.
