Initial thoughts on the Palin nomination (Scripting News)

(via)
Initial thoughts on the Palin nomination Friday, August 29, 2008 by Dave Winer. 1. It certainly was creative and thought-stimulating. Permalink to this paragraph 2. However... it shows McCain thought he was losing to Obama and needed to do something bold that would stir things up. And he certainly did that. Permalink to this paragraph 3. However... no matter how well they vetted her, even if nothing terrible shows up, she has no experience in the world, and virtually no experience in the United States. What does she know about American cities? Our industries and businesses? Economic issues? Balance of trade? The military? Katrina? He picked her because she was the governor from the state that was furthest away from Washington. Point made. But despite what the Republicans say about her qualifications, she has no grounding to run this country. Might as well pick someone from another country. Permalink to this paragraph

Mr Edelman understands as do many Fan”S Of Public Relations the benefit’s of PR ! Now we all know that many people got wealthy during the dot com boom and became experts among their peers ! The newbies really don’t understand public relations , they have created demands using by Brute strength and Ignorance ! Mr Calacanis is bright but like a lot people he may not understand Public Relations ! It is like a CEO in The Ethical Drug Business that thinks buying a Physician Lunch is Marketing ! Ogilvy.com Filed under: — Tags: David Ogilvy, England, Fettes College, London, Ogilvy & Mather, Shopping, United States, William Fettes — Digtital Move's @ 3:52 pm I have noticed that the internet is generating add revenue which I totally agree with ! The real problem I find that the advertisments turn a lot of blogs and sites into Comic Books! The late and great David Ogilvy once stated that an effective bill board should only contain six words ! So how about One Liners for Blogs that link to a Landing Page ! Example “Buy a Chevrolet Now And Save!”
