Brigadier David Innes has launched a campaign to save Canterbury Cathedral from the effects of age and pollution. Audrey Wylfing, returning to the Frog End blog after a short enforced absence, observes that it would be better to demolish it, sell its art treasures to collectors and use its fabric for building materials.
